Liturgical Ministries
It takes a team of parishoners to make our Sunday and weekday masses beautiful and reverent! Consider becoming involved in one of the following liturgical ministries:
Altar Servers
Children and teenagers who have made their first communion are invited to inquire about serving at mass as altar servers. Adults are also occasionally needed. Training is provided. Please contact the parish office for more information.
Lectors
Lectors proclaim the first and second readings to the congregation at mass. They serve on a scheduled rotation and take time during the week to practice and reflect on the readings. If you are interested in serving as a lector, please contact the parish office.
Choir
The parish choir practices at 6:30pm on Tuesday evenings in the church, and sings at the 9:00am and 11:00am Sunday masses (choir members choose one mass to sing at). New members are always welcome, so come join us in song!
Eucharistic Ministers
Extraordinary minister of Holy Communion are lay people who assist the priest in distributing communion at mass or to the sick or home-bound. Please contact the parish office for more information.
Sacristans
Sacristans take great care to prepare the church for mass. Parishioners are welcome to inquire about serving as a sacristan by contacting the parish office.
Ushers
Ushers serve the community by greeting people as they enter the church, assisting people to their seats, taking up the collection at offertory, and handing out bulletins at the end of mass. If you have a friendly face and are willing to serve, then contact the parish office for more details about becoming an usher.
