“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36.
The spirit of St. Peter’s lives! Since the early 1970’s St. Peter’s Parish has assisted families within our parish boundaries with food assistance. Once a month parishioners donate generously to our “Help The Needy Fund.” From these funds, volunteers purchase both perishable and non-perishable food items. For instance, in 2015, with the generous funds donated, our team of 38 volunteers was able to assist 442 families.
